Zen Backyard Pergola

This small back yard in Germantown Philadelphia was a blank slate so we turned it into a zen garden. The client had a half rotted piece of plywood that all the neighborhood kids had painted their handprints on and was very sentimental. We were able to salvage a square from this and place it in the middle of the deck and preserve it. We built a pergola with a deck, planted grass and installed a fish pond.
